MORNING STARTER is an Atomas-inspired, Balatro-themed "nuclear fusion" "simulator" where your goal is to reach element 118 and beyond in order to re-energise the sun, which has now become a white dwarf star.

Brighten up the morning star so the Earth may see a new day.

You assume the role of a fusionist who is working aboard Dyson Sphere Zeta, and spearhead the project focused around reviving a once bright sun. The Dyson Sphere has been repurposed into a nuclear reactor, allowing you to extract elements from the dead star and use them as a part of nuclear fusion so that you may energise the star.

There is absolutely no scientific accuracy in MORNING STARTER. I failed Chemistry and Physics in high school and college respectively. I just thought the concept was cool.

The game is actually a lot easier now that the items have been fixed, because the ring economy can now be manipulated in a lot more ways :p

POSTMORTEM:

I consider this game to have a good concept and idea, however, due to my own laziness and bad habits, it ultimately turned out lacklustre. Every single shop item was added during the night of day 7 across a span of six hours in the night with zero testing done. 

I was considering adding an entire dialogue section with speech options whenever certain events happen in the game, but owing to time constraints and a terrible sleep schedule, Sokolovna ultimately ended up being nothing more than literal eye candy.

I have not given up on this game yet. Owing to almost overwhelming support for the game from you folks and guys on Shovel's Discord, I have decided to expand the game into a better version of itself.

My next game will be better. Thank you for playing the game.

if you were actually interested in the game or my art/future prospects, or wanted to report more bugs that I have not caught yet.

If I receive enough (direct) support (you guys telling me specifically you'd like to see this game expanded further), I will expand on this game idea.

I was planning to turn this project into a kind of a "lobotomy corporation" of sorts, with "days" and each day you have to meet a target energy quota, with several more mechanics (that I intend to ease the player into), add actual lore, more characters, and more dialogue. Let me know if that sounds fun.
